My heart stills before the truth of your generosity, and the warmth of the future shines down upon me. Final thoughts? Only this: In each moment we are offered a million reasons to smile, to say thank you, to give back the love that we are showered with. Making the world a better place isn't so hard. I am reminding myself of truths that I know, trying to focus on holding onto peace and normalcy, grow in some way from this experience. Hi! Thank you for stopping by. I am glad you are here. How has this year been for you, so far? Wow, it is already June! For me, it has been an emotional year - or should I say past few months. I am finding myself in the position of asking what do I really want to do with my life, my time, my passion? I want to be one who offers encouragement, insight, a bit of a nudge. I want my writing to uplift and inspire. So, with that being said, I have only recently begun to write my next poetry book and hold within myself the energy and inspiration to write. I was previously doing something that taxed me beyond what I let on to others and I had no energy left for writing, which is really my passion. Poetry, for me, stems from an untouchable place within. The current theme of not feeling like you belong, and then finding that place, is what my poem is about. New Year, New Dreams Happy New Year!! Welcome 2018! On the beginning of this new year  I am looking forward to many good things happening and I feel grateful for all that last year brought me. I even bought a planner for the year and am so excited to use it! Love Love takes you around inside and outside - boundaries are broken lifted high, flowing in the wind memories of love's enduring presence shine like a star upon the ground that love travels It is with you that I want to dance upon love's stage Do you hear it -Love - calling you over and over your whole name is a whisper upon the sand your essence a reflection upon still water. The gift is within. The answer is within. These words we have heard before, but what do they mean? To me, they mean that for every obstacle we face, every storm that comes our way, during every trial, there is something within us that we can access that will see us through. This something is always present, deep within us, and it means we are never alone. I have had to access this part of myself more often than I would like, as have we all. Hi! Welcome!      I have been thinking recently about the quiet moments, the ones we seem to have to make a conscious effort to enjoy; those moments of reflection and introspection that offer us respite, insight and renewal. I want to make time for more of that in my life. Do you? It is almost as if I am craving the peace and guidance that comes in those moments when I sit in silence and allow myself to just BE. I can release my sense of urgency concerning issues in my life that are coming up. I can relax.      Spending time acknowledging blessings, envisioning the future, releasing and letting go of negative energy, all happen within, in the sacred space that waits for us to be present with it.
